These are groups of 4-5 men who meet weekly for one hour early in the morning before work. The goal of these groups is to promote Christian growth and maturity by being accountable to other likeminded men to better fulfill their roles as Christian men, godly husbands and fathers and also to understand the meaning and the need for responsible church membership and to establish deep and meaningful relationships with other Christian men. |

Men's FraternityTM... The Quest for Authentic Manhood is a captivating journey designed to help you understand your masculine identity and make the pursuit of authentic manhood a lifelong priority. It offers a clear and compelling definition of what it means to be a man, extends the challenge to develop a personalized manhood plan and then inspires and equips you to incorporate the Quest into the fabric of your everyday life. Subjects include: Seasons of a Man's Life; Uncovering the Wounds of Manhood; A Definition of Authentic Manhood; Plotting a Personal Course to Manhood. Men's Fraternity is designed to help men come together and strengthen each other through weekly sessions that combine biblical teach and small group interaction. Each session is 90 minutes. Who Attends Men's Fraternity? Men like you, men who want to contribute more toward their relationships with their families, co-workers, friends and community.Men wishingto become better examples of an authentic man as modeled by Jesus Christ. Offered on Wednesday mornings from 6-7:30 or Thursday evenings from 7-8:30. Next session begins September 1st & 2nd. It runs for 13 weeks before Christmas and 11 after the 1st of the year. Annual Men's Retreat…This retreat is held at Hidden Acres camp, which is an Evangelical Free Church camp located near Boone, Iowa. Men leave the church on Friday at 4:00 PM and return either Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon. This retreat is usually scheduled in January or February.
Promise Keepers Conference…This is a Friday evening through Saturday evening conference which includes worship, teaching and fellowship for men. Groups usually attend a conference in Des Moines, Omaha, Minneapolis, or Kansas City. Takes place anytime from late spring to fall.
Sportsman's Retreat…An annual 24 hours with the guys retreat that is held two consecutive weekends at Hidden Acres with a different emphasis each weekend. Held in the spring, for more information click here
Work on the New Addition…Our new addition is being built almost entirely by volunteers! If you have construction experience, or even if you don't, come join us as we work diligently to complete this task! Help anytime on Tuesday evenings or Saturday morning.
